Enterprise Agreement

An enterprise agreement ('EA') is a collective agreement made directly between an employer and its employees. The EA can be written to cover all of the employer’s employees or it can be written to cover employees within a distinct geographic or operational part of the employer’s business. Once made, the EA must be lodged with Fair Work Australia in order to be effective. This HR Advance product is designed for employers who fall within the federal workplace jurisdiction and are therefore affected by the Fair Work Act. This product and the following commentary do not address employers who fall outside the federal jurisdiction and who are not affected by the Fair Work Act.
