Three principal stages in employment law compliance
There are three important steps for employers to take to comply with employment law:
- Initially set up the key documentation – ie your employment law compliance portfolio. This portfolio will underpin a sound compliance program. The HR Advance website helps you compile your employment law compliance portfolio.
- The next step is to implement this program (checklists provided on this site can help). This means turning words into reality.
- The third step is to have a review process so that the documentation and the implementation remain under review and can be appropriately updated (again checklists can help).
The review process requires you to consider the particular circumstances of the workplace and make appropriate changes to the policies and practices that apply there.
The first step in employment law compliance is to set up the documentation that allows you to put a compliance regime in place. Relevant documents are available on this website under the categories of:
- Agreements/Contracts
- Policies
- Correspondence

Forms

Checklists
